Media Blasting
After a fire in the Sioux Falls area, soot can be everywhere in the structure. SERVPRO Franchise Professionals know all of the methods to effectively clean up the soot damage from surfaces. When plywood, wood framing, or other surfaces are affected they can sometimes require a process called media blasting.
Most commonly know for sand blasting, this process uses different types of blasting media depending on the surface being cleaned. Garnet is a media commonly used for cleaning structural components. Baking soda can be used for delicate surfaces that are more prone to damage. Things such as walnut shell may also be used in some instances.
Rest assured that no matter what the situation is, SERVPRO has the knowledge and experience to make it "Like it never even happened."
