Fun At The Lake Home

Lake homes are a fun, relaxing place to go to get away from it all. This home owner had not been to their house for a few weeks and was greeted by a terrible odor coming from the lower level. There were some wet spots on the carpet and some puddling in the laundry room, so they assumed with the recent rain, they had a water loss. They made the right choice to call SERVPRO of West Sioux Falls to come and do an inspection. After our production manager checked out the area, it was determined this was a sewage loss, not a water loss. A plumbing problem had caused a backup in the shower, toilet and floor drains. What the home owner thought would be an easy cleanup turned out to be a complete demolition of the lower level of their home. SERVPRO has the trained staff to complete this project through each phase. Starting with the initial inspection, to the demolition and cleanup and ending with the rebuild. The relaxing weekend the home owners thought they were going to have turned out to be a little stressful but by contacting SERVPRO and getting the process started right away we were able to get the problem under control and have them back enjoying their lake time in a few short days.
