SERVPRO vs. Mold

This Tea, SD home noticed an unsightly discoloration growing near their shower. Before long it became normal and repeatedly ignored. 

Shower after shower the discoloration seemed to multiply. The home owner finally had enough and called SERVPRO to assess the damages and take care of the problem. These photos represent our work in progress.

The family's shower curtain didn't quite cover to the corner showed in the photo. This allowed water droplets to continuously hit this area. Once the wall repeatedly becomes wet and stay wet it doesn't take too long before mold begins to grow and colonize.
