Heavy Rains in Eastern South Dakota

After a summer that has been dominated by drought, South Dakotans on the eastern half of the state finally got some relief. After some lighter rain earlier in the week, some areas of Eastern South Dakota received well over an inch of rain, with some spots seeing as much as 3 inches in a day! Not only was this a great relief for the many agricultural professionals in our state, but for those of us sick of paying high water bills to keep our lawns alive!
