Storms In Sioux Falls Area

Monday brought a lot of rain to Sioux Falls, Tea, Harrisburg, Brandon, Dell Rapids and other surrounding towns.  We welcomed the rain since it has been a very dry year for us.  The rain did choose to come down in a manner that created flash flooding.  A lot of water all at once.  This caused a lot of sump pumps to either fail, or just not keep up fast enough.  There were many flooded basements in Sioux Falls and the surrounding area.

With school starting this week for a number of people, there just isn't a lot of time to deal with things like water damage in your home.  If you haven't been able to get the damage taken care of yet, call SERVPRO to come take a look at it and make sure your home doesn't suffer further damage, such as mold growth.
